The undefeated UMFK women's soccer team received five votes to place 39th in the NAIA Women's Soccer Coaches Top 25 this week. The Lady Bengals are 14-0-0 with one final regular season game remaining this Saturday at Maine Machias.
Game-time is set for 11am when UMFK will look to match the 2006 Lady Bengals (17-0) by going through the regular season undefeated. The five votes gives UMFK some respect nationally and a win Saturday and Sunrise Conference Championship the following weekend in Scarborough, Maine at the SC Final Four could help the Lady Bengals climb up the polls even further.
